Wine and Flavors     by The Wine Guide of About.com

The Wheel of Wine, offered by US-Davis, is a study in flavors. Neatly divided up into categories and subcategories, the wheel lists just about any flavor you can taste in a wine. The idea isn't to tell you which you should smell, but merely to give you various words to look at while you sip wine, to help you figure out what you do smell.

What, though, if you're looking for a wine that smells like a certain fruit or vegetable, but don't know where to start? Here is a list of some common aromas found in wines, and the types of wines you can find them in. Remember, every wine is different, and everbody's taste buds taste wines differently. These are just some suggestions.
