Doublecross
Type of Dominoes Used: Special
Type of Game: Special Domino Set

Domino set: 48 playing tiles; one score pad.
Object of the game: To be the first player or team to accumulate 500 points.
Number of tiles drawn: If 2 or 3 play, each draws 12 tiles; 4 or 5 play, each draws 9; and if 6 play, each draws 8 tiles. (If 6 play, there will be no remaining tiles after the draw, therefore, there will be no drawing during the game.)
Place all the tiles facedown and shuffle.

The player with the triple-6 tile begins the round by placing the tile faceup on the playing surface. If the triple-6 is not drawn, the next-highest triple starts the round.

The play proceeds in a clockwise manner.
If a player is unable to place a tile from his hand, he draws one tile from the draw pile.
If a player is still unable to place a tile, play passes to the next player.

Each round ends when any player plays all the tiles in his hand. All other players add up their remaining tiles, and those points are awarded to the winner of the round.
In team play, only the opposing team's points are added to the winning team's score.

Scoring:
QUAD SCORE: Player matches one or two sections of a tile to form a quad. Point value: 12 points.
DOUBLE QUAD SCORE: Player matches two sections to form two quads.

Point value: 22 points.
BRIDGE SCORE: A tile is used to connect the ends of two existing tiles. Point value: 6 points.
T-BRIDGE SCORE: A tile is placed using the middle section and only one end to match an costing patten. Point

value: 20 points.
DOUBLE SCORE: Player matches a tile that forms one quad and two additional sections. Point value: 30 points.
TRIPLE SCORE: occurs only when a tile is placed parallel to an existing pattern and all 3 sections match. Point value: 28 points.

DOUBLECROSS: Player places a triple tile to match an existing pattern. The point value of a doublecross is the sum x 2. Point value: 24 x 2 = 48 points!
Note: The first score occurs when the first quad is formed.
