Cross Dominoes
Number of players: 2 - 4
Type of Dominoes Used: Any Domino
Type of Game: Blocking Game

A.K.A. simply Cross
What's unique: The first double played is a spinner and it must be played on both ends and both both sides, forming a 5-tile cross, before any other tile can be played.

Number of dominoes drawn: 2 players, draw 7; 3 players, draw 6; 4 players, draw 5.
Set: The player holding the highest double makes the first play.

Other rules:
*Only the first double played is a spinner.
*A player may not pass if he is holding a playable tile in his  hand.
* If a player cannot make a play, he must draw from the boneyard until he draws a playable domino. Do not draw the last two remaining dominoes in the boneyard.
* If a player cannot make a play, he must pass if 1) he was unable to draw a playable domino; 2) there are only two dominoes left in the boneyard, and therefore no more dominoes left to be drawn; or 3) playing the variation mentioned above, in which all players draw 6 tiles each and then must pass if a play cannot be made. o Game ends when a player dominoes or when game is blocked.

Number of Dominoes Drawn Variation: Each player draws 6 tiles and the remaining tiles are discarded. In this game variation, if you cannot make a play, you  must pass.

Variation: If after the first round of play not all four sides of the first double have been played upon, in subsequent rounds no tile can be played on the remaining open end (or ends) of the first double played.

Variation: The player who makes the first play by setting the highest double has the option to immediately add another tile to the set tile or to pass.
